Southern Washington grants

Mercy corps northwest

For nearly 20 years Mercy Corps Northwest has offered financial support to small business owners across the Pacific Northwest. Across Southern Washington, we are working with entrepreneurs who have been negatively impacted by COVID‑19 to disburse emergency grants to keep their businesses afloat.

In the past, we have worked with the City of Vancouver and Clark County – in addition to other local agencies – to offer grants that support individuals in growing or starting a small business.

Southern Girl Delights was started in 2018 by Dorothy Golson who dreamt of one day owning her own Southern food restaurant. When COVID closures hit her business in 2020, a grant from Mercy Corps Northwest allowed her to maintain the funds to stay in operation and continue her passion of cooking delicious meals for the Vancouver, Washington community.
