Brendan serves as a Mercy Corps Northwest VISTA Leader supporting individual AmeriCorps VISTAs in completing a rewarding year of service. Brendan's multiracial heritage makes him keenly aware of the subtle undercurrents of prejudice and inequity embedded in Oregon's landscapes, which underwrites his passion for DEI and antipoverty work.
